It is always surprising to me how long it takes to build supposed "easy" sites from the automated systems online -- blogger, etsy, register.com. They all offer templates and quick start systems, but if you have definite ideas what you want for a site/look, fighting the automatic systems and widgets in order to get what you want is a pain in the @#*$.
Suffice to say, none of the sites are what I wanted, but I don't have the funds or time to customer build this stuff.
